Since design of our Hardware is based on modularity and simplicity, their installation is straightforward. We use components “off the shelf” which enables plug and play procedure. Should any of the parts malfunction, they can be easily purchased and replaced anywhere in the world.

Our efficient system allows minimizing the installation time. This is not only associated with our single computer installation, but also minimizes the number of cables needed to interconnect the simulator subsystems.

Once the simulator has been installed, a validation test is carried to ensure correct functioning of the system.

Every simulator machine is provided with the complete set of manuals. Manual guides provide useful information for instructor, system administrators and technicians in charge of maintenance procedures. The guide is divided in three parts user manual, system administrator and maintenance manual.

The user manual part provides information related to every exercise available on that particular simulator. In addition, it explains variables and parameters of the evaluation reports that are generated.

The system administrator manual part suggests procedures associated with simulator operation. We provide a set of instructions to configure: System controls, Users, Machine configuration parameter and Virtual classes.

With regards to the maintenance manual part, it describes the most important failures that could occur in the simulator and how these can be resolved. A list of the simulator components and electrical diagrams that demonstrate internal connections of the simulator controls are also included in the manual guide.

All our products are designed using high-quality components that ensure durability and product life longevity, which allows us to offer a very high system functioning. Should however, any issue occur, all necessary adjustments, modifications and/or repairs can be resolved by our in-house expert. We commit to resolve any detected issues within the first twelve month after the product purchase, FREE of charge.

24/7 Online Tool

LSyM provides an online tool, available 24/7 called Mantis. Mantis is an in-house designed and maintained application that permits:

  • Reporting of any detected issue during the use of the application.
  • Requesting an implementation of new functionalities.
  • Suggestion of new simulator features.

Hardware Components

All our simulators include a tool responsible for analysing the signals of sensors and devices connected to the simulator, which makes hardware troubleshooting protocols simple and reliable.

In the very unlike event of a breakdown, the defective component can be easily located. All our system elements are based on COTS components (Commercial off-the-shelf, that can be repaired or purchased locally) therefore, should this be necessary, hardware maintenance can be easily implemented by the customer. LSyM team however, provides all the necessary support and documentation.

We offer corrective (correcting existing issues), adaptive (enhance, improve current features), perfective (introduce some new features) and preventive (enhancement of the software) maintenance.

Some of these are:

  • Upgrade of the simulator technologies.
  • Introduction of new functionalities (for example. Our newest version will incl. camera recording not only exercises but also alumni).
  • New modules, exercises, tests and new evaluation reports (In this sense we can replicate industry certification practical tests according to CPCS specifications and deliver corresponding assessments of student performance).
  • Adding new functionalities, like a remote instructor desk, collaborative simulation, stereoscopic vision, exercise editor, etc.
  • Support for the operating Systems Upgrade (Windows Upgrade).
