Wheel Loader Simulator

Wheel Dozer loaders are powerful machines mainly used in earth moving jobs to load large quantities of material.

Although the most common tasks are loading and hauling bulk materials, the versatility and mobility of these machines allows them to play very different roles in construction and mining, such as piles of material, bulky cargo, filling, excavations, construction of embankments and ramps, scattered material, etc.

Why use the Wheel Dozer Simulator?

The use of the simulator developed by the LSyM group provides the operator with the optimal training to perform the operations safely and correctly.

The use of our simulator allows to create situations of danger that would be impossible to train in a real way, due to the risk so high that they imply.

• Cabin located on a platform of 2 to 6 degrees of freedom.
• Steering wheel, accelerator and brake pedals for driving.

Visualization system

• Picture textures from a real facility.
• Implementation of shaders to provide greater visual realism to objects.

• Heads-Up Display showing information about positions and machine parameters.

Special conditions

• Weather events: wind, rain, fog, snow, etc.
• Realistic response to collisions based on their severity.
• Realistic ground and terrain dynamics: mass forces, excavation and shearing, inertial properties and collisions affect the behavior of the machine.

Instructional design

Our Wheel Loader Simulator consists of a complete design instructional divided in blocks, within each block appear a series of exercises that progressively increase its difficulty as the student is overcoming them.
